A few months ago I visited a seminar organized by Dr Carter. The seminar was  titled “Live out Loud” and was based around the idea of living fully for God without regret, fear or bondage. I enjoyed it so much I decided to bring Dr Carter to the Cross Campus Ministry podcast to share her passion for life and holiness with you. Enjoy!

Dr Carter’s 14 Day challenge:

If you have listened to the episode and want to participate in Dr Patrice Carter’s 14 day challenge; the breakdown is below…

14 DAYS

1. Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 Without His help none of this is even possible.

2. Make the choice to be celibate no matter what or who

3. Choose to put God first, then you and then others

4. Identify the choices that are preventing you from maintaining the commitment to holiness i.e…

Drinking-uninhibited

Going certain places

Fear of breaking off dead end relationships for whatever reason

Books, music etc…that may be leading you to sin or temptation

5. Read the Word of God daily

6. Fast if necessary

7. Start a bible study group with others who are like minded

8. Find an accountability partner

9. Ignore phones and text messages for one day. Stop making others your TOP priority

10. Spend 5 minutes thanking God

11. Attend a church service

12. Acknowledge sex before marriage as a sin

13. Dress or speak in a way that demands respect
